AI vs. AI

I found an article recently in the Wall Street Journal about the role of AI in education, which at this point, is nothing new anymore. However, I find it slightly amusing that teachers are using AI to grade written assignments that their students likely used AI to write. Students do not want to do the work to write the paper, and teachers do not want to/are not able to invest the time and energy to grade the work. What happens when AI grades a paper written by AI? Automatic good grade and positive feedback? Things that are floating through my head as I always reflect on grading and assessing students.
